USL League Two (often called USL2) is a summer pre-professional league for men, built primarily around college-eligible players who want high-level competitive minutes without giving up their NCAA amateur status. With well over 100 clubs spread across the country, it's the largest men's development league in America by team count.
The season is short and intense — most clubs play a compressed summer schedule between May and July — so it's easy to catch several matches in a short window. Plenty of current MLS and USL Championship pros played USL League Two as college players.
